You could write to the Canvas Shop, James Bawell, 3525 Zeltenreich Road, Gordonville, PA 17529.

He makes binder and combine canvasses.

Oilman A friend has a 12a still in service, its a good working old machine, but slow as the day is long. He priced having a new lower canvas built at around $350, if I remember correctly. I am not sure if the canvas was the same width for the 5' and 7' cut models, but I think it is. I can get you the diminsions for his 5' if you would like. Give me a day or two and I will try to get them posted. Roy

I don't know the exact years but we used to have an 11A then a 12A back in the late 40's early 50's. You might have to make a canves unless someone knows where you can get one. Green Magazine probably has done an article on them at some time. Good luck.

My grandfather had a 12A with an LUC engine on it. The 12 was a right hand machine, made in 1939-40. The 12A left hand replaced it and was made 1940 to 1951. The 25 replaced the 12A in 1952. The last of the line, the 30 (with auger and raddles instead of canvas), replaced the 25 in 1956.
My grandfather's 12A was done in by a tornado taking out the machinery shed in 1979. Most of the machinery survived intact, but the combine took heavy damage to the grain elevator and platform. It was scrapped.
I found NOS upper and lower canvasses in the rafters of the shop 3 years ago, sold them for $150.
