Which is the more common wing disc for the southeastern U.S. - the JD 637 or the JD 650?

The 630 or 637 would be more common and its what we've had for years. The 650 is more of a blackland and rock disk but a good heavy disk would be great in any type soil. It usually is much heavier duty. There have been many times when I wish we had had one. In N. Alabama we still have heavy soil and plenty of rocks to justify one. But with no-till we don't even hook a disk up most years and then its just to fill in ruts or help level up a rough field. For that a 630 is plenty good enough. They are still a very excellent disk for a first cutting.
