New Idea ...It also has the highest negative cutting angle...i.e for ditch bank mowing

The ones that the Hay DR sells (CCM) are as good as I have seen (and used).

Tried 3 different ones...kuhn is the only one that
stood up...the new generation hd's..

My personal preference is New Idea. I like the shaft drive and the modular design. Between my dad and I we have had 4 of them, dating back to 1991.

In that time I've tried bushhog, deere, kuhn, and vicon. Hands down I picked a NI when it was time to buy my last one.

I had a 7ft Bushhog, and went to a 9ft John Deere. The Bushhog worked good and the John Deere has been as good or better.
