There are a small differences in the types of bearings and grease requirements, but the most noticeable difference is the 323 has rubber finger forwarder wheels over the husking bed while the 310 has belting flap forwarder wheels. The flaps are not as agressive as the stars, but you can make new flaps cheaply and easily from old tire carcasses. Rubber finger wheels are still available but are expensive to replace.

Thanks for the reply a friend felt the 323 was the better machine but could not tell me what changes were made to improve it.
