Does anyone have an owners manual or any other manual for this machine? I was given one and need to work on it to get it ready for next year. I know its going to cost to get it done but it was free. Thank you for your help. email me if you can help with this.

Be advised there were 2 pt 10s. The older type was a poor design in that it would not float on uneven ground. It had an 8 foot cut.

The newer pt 10 was much nicer and would float, but not as well as a NH 469. Both Hesstons would cut tall stuff that the NH would not. The newer pt 10 had a 9 foot cut. I owned these machines at one time. No manual.

All PT10's were 9 ft cut and used the same cutter header. I have one of the older types myself. The key to making them float is to properly adjust them. The PT7 was a shorter cut.
You are correct about the 2 differant drive designs.
