I have some vintage J. D. tractors, and one Ford. I also have an interest in vintage wagons. I have a J.D. 953,and a J.D. 1064,which are used in parades. I have recently found a Montgomery Ward wagon, that I will restore. It is somewhat like the 953. It has tie rods, and is on rubber. Looks quite old. I am not a bit familiar with a M. W's wagon, and am wondering if there is someone that remember' them. Les Warner

Going from memory of long ago ,Wards sold a line of running gears called "Loload ".They made a Loload Jr. which was about 21/2 ton a 4 or 5 ton Sr.They compared favorably to Sears David Bradley line.

Hi Ktheol,Thanks for the information. After checking again on my oldest J D wagon,I found out that it is a J D 963 ( it has springs) The M W wagon is like the J D 953 ( without springs).Les
