I have an old Dearborn disc that I am fixing up to use around the ranch. I need to replace some of the disc blades. They are 16 inches in diameter and have a 7/8 inch round hole in them. I can"t seem to find the replacement discs with the 7/8 inch round hole, but I have found the ones with a 7/8 inch square hole. With the round hole, there appears to be no way to keep the discs from turning on the axle except to just keep the axle nut tight. If that is the case, can I use the replacement discs with the 7/8 inch square hole on my 7/8 inch round axle? If not can you suggest where to find the right replacement discs? Thanks for any replies!

Square holes will work. Round holes will turn too, if not kept tight. If you are really concerned about it, use a small tack weld in one corner to the spool.
