Whats a 12' worth in WI, probably go 50 or so acres before needin some parts..Guys looking to get $700 for it..

You would get all 10 or so I've seen at recient auctions here in southern MN if you offered $200 a piece. Private sales it's whatever the 2 people agree to..... Auctions is $100-160. If the shovels are wore out, walk away, not worth messing with. I got mine for $120 a few years ago, near new shovels.

That price is WAY too high. Even in my area (KS) you can buy a bigger one than that in field ready condition for $300

Here's my 18' IH 45 Vibra shank at work this fall. I paid $200 for it a year or two ago and it is in perfect condition. Good sweeps, decent tires, harrow attatchment. All I added was a cylinder and a hitch pin.

In our area unless you get lucky that 18' machine you got would still bring atleast $500, but probably more. I was looking at a vibra chisel at a dealer this spring and I think they still wanted $1000 for it, looks about the same condition as yours except it needed 1 or 2 sweeps.

I picked up an 18' Oliver 245 cultivator that needed some work for $200, and it was hard convincing the guy that he really didn't have much there. When I compared it to some much nicer ones that went at auction for $500 a couple weeks before that, he seemed disapointed to say the least when I only offered him $150. He thought his was a gem....

I scoured the ads this spring too but anything that had any paint left and was in decent shape was atleats $700. Throw in a leveler on the back, and it's $1000.

I sold an 18 ft IH 45 with hydraulic wings for $150. The 12 ft might be worth $200 since scrap steel is much higher now. For $700 I would expect a more updated/better cultivator
