Am looking for a website or a physical location in the Pacific NW where I can get a good used or fixer-upper 3 pt. hitch, PTO driven buzz saw. I'm clearing 40+ acres of junipers this year and figure this is the best way to go considering the terrain!! Thanks!!!

Don't know what quantity of wood you're planning to do, but 40 A. sounds like it justifies getting a buzz saw. A PTO-driven saw can cut wood 5 times faster than a chain saw, and with less muscle and back fatigue. Mine is mounted on a 2-wheeled frame. Pulley mounted on rear of shaft which drives the second shaft on which the blade is mounted.(Belt serves as a slip-clutch if needed) Blade is 31", table is tilt-type. Works slick! Can cut a 12" log in one whack.

what diameter are the things your trying to cut. i use to see advertisments for a 3 pt bush hog that had a rack built on top of the bush hog that pushed the trees over away from the operator and then the bush hog whacked them down. i don't know that i've ever seen a saw mounted on a tractor like that. my grandfather use to have a little one cylinder garden tractor with a saw blade mounted on the front of it. you could lay it down flat to cut a tree down and then twist it up straight to saw it up into fire wood or logs.

Seriously,
I'm Wondering why you want a buzz saw because you're "clearing 40+ acres of junipers . . . " I haven't seen any one use a buzz saw since the developed the one man chainsaws. How do you intend to fell and trim the junipers?
