Hay work is done and the old S-68 baler is resting for the year now and I was planning on giving her a coat of paint this winter and knock down some rust. Yep - I need to keep myself busy in the barn so the wife don't give me the old honey-do list. Any one ever found out if the old NH baler decals are available? This is a working baler not a fancy renovation project, but instead of removing and painting over the old decals it sure would be nice to add a new Super 68 Hayliner decal- since those old NH decal logos sure look neat.

I tryed about 4 years ago to get decals for a 68 baler from the dealer. They were obsolete. A set showed up on e-bay and went over $100. Kelly C. bought them and was looking into reproducing these, never heard if he did or not. They are tough to find and may be high dollar if the seller knows what he has. Good Luck and keep us posted if you find any.

I got old fashioned (the kind you soak in water) decals for my Super 68 a few years back. They were very old and yellowed around the edges. I think they were obviously old stock. The NH dealer had a little trouble finding some. I doubt NH has any "new" versions, so new production ones may not be available. I recently restored a NH 273 and most of the decals were available from NH and were actually reseasonably priced. You might try a print shop that makes decals. I went to a local print shop to get a couple decals for the 273 that NH didn"t offer any more. They were about $12 a piece but were worth it when I got them on the baler, after a fresh coat of paint.

A guy that used to post on here a lot by the name of "kelly C" made some decals up since he couldnt get any. I would do a search and see if you can locate him. Maybe drop him an email. At one time I think he was going to make extras to sell...

A New Holland dealer could get you a set.

Is the Super 68 different from the Hayliner 68? I have a Hayliner 68 and couldn"t get decals for it from a New Holland dealer a couple years ago. I removed the panel with the big front decal from the baler and laid it flat and painted over the entire decal with artist"s brushes. Not all at one time. just did one color at a time with drying between. Came out quite good, but it depends a bit on a steady hand. Not real perfect up close but from a distance looks just as good as new!!
