did new idea ever make a sheller for the back end of a mounted picker?

When i get a chance i'll look thru some of my old litature. I rode with a neighbor who had the sheller. He had it mounted on a massey 180.Wonderful time!=)

It looks like the model number was 315 for the 2 row mounted. But I think that must be the whole unit as it is listed as weighing 3700 pounds. The pull type picker/shellers are models 324PS and 325PS. Years ago we had a sheller attachment for a JD227 picker. I think it was a Model 50?

Many different models of mounted pickers and each would take a different sheller unit. Never seen a sheller unit as they were never used in my area of the country and the pickers were made about 40 mile from me.

Yes. I do not know the model of the outfit. However, the snapping units elevated the ears and dumped them back on the husking bed. It was attached to the rear of the tractor. The rear of the husking bed and the wagon elevator was additionally supported by a pair of caster wheels. They never became popular here (NW IA).
