Not sure if it will help anyone out or not, but I just bought a New Holland 327 spreader. The bearings are frozen on the beaters, but I"m planning to remove for use as a live bottom trailer for hauling mulch for my wife"s flower business anyway. So before I take the large hammer and blue wrench to the beater drive, is anyone looking for any of those parts? I have no idea as to condition that things are in, but the apron chain moves so that"s my only concern. please e-mail [email protected] this Sat. if you"re interested in any of the beater drive parts.

I have a 327NH single beater spreader and the beater is removable by removing 4 bolts on each side and taking the chain off . In fact the operators manual shows how to do it to be used as you describe.
