Trying to figger out the value of this mower. The hubs on all the disc are rite wobbly is this normal ware. I have not removed them I was just asked to look to see it i could remove one that has a rounded nut that retains one of them. I know I can get the disc off. One disc is off and the splined spindle looks OK. The disc that was removed in not their so I don't know the condition of the hub. I have never been around a mower like this so don't have a opinion. How desirable are these mowers, the pasture they need to mow are clear with no obstructions, 60 acres, at this time at least for the next 2 years they have 40 leasted out to a farmer that plants beans so they need to take care of 20. Thanks for any help.

Not familar with that mower, but the hubs should not be wobbly. However, if the hubs are worn it is a relatively easy fix, just replace hubs. You really need to see the condition of the splines in the hubs as wellas the splines on the shafts. It is possible the hubs were not tightened enough on the shaft. What is important is that the shafts not wobble in the cutterbar. This would mean bad bearings and might be trouble to replace. Some mowers have sealed bearings at the top. It would be helpful to find a dealer who will explain things about that mower. You also should check oil in the cutterbar and gearbox if you haven't already. Take the plug from the gearbox and shine a light in , turn the cutterhead over, and see all the gears look ok. The blades on the one blade carrier showing look almost new.
If you get the mower, I would change the oil in the gearbox and cutter bar according to specs. It will clip a pasture just fine, just don't cut tree sprouts over 1/2 inch in diameter and preferrably not at all.
