JD 8350 drill seed box relocating

Has anyone ever moxed the hayseed box to the back?We always keep the hoses clean,and have even put on clear 3/4" vinyl tubing,and they always cause plugging problems.I am going to try this winter to re-locate it to the back of the drill so I can use short straight hoses and eliminate this argivating problem.It doesn't matter where the seed is purchaces and what seeding rate is used,but even the smallest seed seems to set in the slightest of curves in the hose and causes plugging.Just was wondering if anyone may have an experienced helpful tip or two before I get started.Thanks pd.

I found out too late this year that although the hoses were all clean, the boot right above the hose attachment had some seed that had collected over the course of time, spiders, moisture, etc. be sure those are cleaned as well

This may sound stupid and maybe you've already checked,but could the plugging be caused by spiders or other insects in the tubes. I have to blow out the seed tubes on our Int.510 every season.

No,it isn't a stupid question at all.We use a piece of cloth attached to some wire and pull it through each of the seed runs before we start seeding just for that reason.pd.
