My brother has an Oliver Plowmaster 2-bottom trailer plow that needs rims but we can�t seem to find them any where. We live in North Carolina the specs on the rims are 16" 6-bolt with a 5" bolt pattern. If any one could help that would be great.

The front wheels off an early 40's MM Z or U, will fit.

if you go to a junk yard looking for rims carry an old hub with you so you can just drop it down in the holes and see if they fit.

Look for a wheel from a farm wagon chassis. I have a 2 bottom plow master and the wheel looks like the ones we had on our wagons.

try a rim off a 50s thru early 70s Chevy pickup.

Some pickup trucks used 6 lug rims. Take one along to a junk yard. Hal

I am in the habit of saving ANY old 16" skinny rims, for such projects. Many cars and trucks of the 40's used them. Some new "donut" spares may be your size. Cut the bad rim off of the Oliver wheel, cut the wheel out of the good rim, clean up, and put the good parts together. Or have a machine shop do it. Perfect may not be necessary, as this is not normally a Hi-speed application.

Well those are good ideas I will tell him and see what we can come up with. And as far as splicing two rims we do not have the rims that were on it, there were nothing left of them.
