Hi I am looking for a upper drive pulley for a John Deere model 25 , 7 foot wide frail mower. This pulley bolts on with 6 bolts to a flat plate which is connected to the main gear box. If you have this pulley or know of someone who does please email me at [email protected] Thanks in advance Ed Haley

i was thinking that the ones we have have a three groove pull on them. they are an 80 inch cut model, but i don't know the number. some electrical supply house might can help you by ordering one for you or ww grangier. i don't have their catalog any more.

my neighbor and i had a frail mower each. one was a bush hog brand name and it was identical to the ford brand name, so other makes may fit your application too. we parted one of them out, but i don't know if the pulley you want is the right on or not. how big across is it? i think this one is set up for a three grove belt that is all one piece. i'll try to look up that part tomorrow and see what it looks like. seems like it only has 4 bolts holding it on. got a model number by chance.

Hi , its a John Deere Model 25 , 7 foot wide frail mower, this one has a one groove pulley, and bolts to a flat plate with 6 bolts, Another guy checked a ford model and said it wasn't the same. Thanks for responding Ed

FLail mower. Sorry, but it bothers me. Frail means it will break easily into a thousand pieces first jolt it gets . . . . of course like some of my machinery that could be the case??? :) But anyway Deere manufactured their own flail mowers, so Deere may be your only source for parts.

I agree with frail mower as it is broke and is a JD. You might get a little frail when you price out the parts you need from JD. Dave
