Does anyone know of a lower cost replacement bearing for a JD400 rotary hoe?

Any local bearing place or ag parts place near you should have some jap or china bearings for about $2. Should be 203RRA2 bearing fits JD rotary hoes and several other things too like JD 520 disk drill.

Sloan Express wants $1.99 per bearing.

From the 2007 printed Sloan Express catalog, bearing number 406011. Everybody uses the same wheels and bearings, its not Deere specific.

Can't find them at Shoup on line.

I found these numbers on ebay, and the price listed is consistent with the dealers quote??? (Jd number AN142670 or AN281357 $7.34 Each)

Shoup spring 2007 catalog shows their catalog number sh22 also fits 750 drill gauge wheels. But not on their web page under hoe wheels. $4.99 each.

Sloan EX, 406011 on the hoe wheel page shown at $1.99, on their drill gauge wheel page shown at $2.49. The number shows up at $2.49 at www.sloanex.com.

So call them on the phone.
