A year or two ago I bought a John Deere plow. I need help identifing the plow. I have found no serial tag or numbers stamped in the plow. It is a 2 bottom plow with mechanical trip and has slatted moldboards. Also I can't get the plow to raise if is a mechanical trip. Any help on either of these topics would be much appriciated thanks, grant

one picture is on the implement photo page on this site it is named unknown. I am not sure how to post pictures in the discussion forum. There were only two numbers I found on the plow one was a parts casting number for the hitch the other was on the tail wheel bracket which maybe a parts number reference not sure it is g785-a.
Also does the tail wheel have to be installed for the plow the lift properly. If you notice the tail wheel is off in picture. I am haveing trouble locating a replacement rim for it. thanks for the help grant
