I got a brush hog without the pto shaft. The mower is in good shape, but am having a hard time finding a shaft that will work on the gear box. The shaft on the gear box is 1 1/2" dia. with a groove about 1" from the end and a shear pin hole about 1" behind the groove. All that I can come up with around here is a 1 3/8" bore yoke. Anyone know where I might find the right yoke?

not sure if you really mean the name bush hog brand or something else. on my real bush hog brand name cutter is a slip clutch that goes on the shaft that goes in to the gear box. maybe thats why you can't find just a shaft for it. bush hog brand name is made in salem al and you might look for a model nuimber tag and give them a call. don't know if they are on line or not.
