Which 3pt 2 Stage Snow Blower for JD 4020 (80hp)gas?

I happen to have a 7 foot single auger 2-stage blower as someone elese mentioned. I use it on my 27 hp compact tractor, or my 85 hp bigger tractor. Seems to blow about the same snow either way, the compact is a little more manuverable. The compact has a slower reverse. In heavy snow I can overload the blower with either, need to push the clutch now & then.

Watch for worn out blower bands and small chutes. The bands will blow through and the small chute will create a lot of headaches in wet snow. Other than that, get a blower that will at the very least cover the width of your tractor's wheel tracks. If not you'll be stuck in a deep drift...
Worn chains and sprockets and other simple visible stuff would be the other things to watch. With blowers it's pretty well ya get's what ya sees. Inside of the gearbox is about all you can't see, and probably not much to worry about anyway.

I run a 7' single auger - 2 stage on a NH 3930 (47HP). Does fine in powder. Heavier snow I don't have the power.

Can't wait for snow this year, I am putting it on my new to me AC 7000 (105HP).

So what to buy, I have owned 3 blowers over the years. They are all pretty simple. I just check the bearings and the gear box. The rest is just sheet metal. Easy to straighten. Don't ask how I know.

5 footer $700(2001), 6 footer $700 (2001), 7 footer $550 (2003). All of these needed nothing other than a little paint.
