I have a IH 990 haybine and that thing is noisy alot worse than the NH461 Is this normal? As far as I know there is nothing wrong with it like a bearing or something it has been like this as long as I have owned it and have used it a lot. Thanks

i owned 3 of them and they were all noisy. sometimes something has to completely fail before you can find the problem. most of it comes from the type of rollers you have. one steel and one rubber actually does a better job than two steel ones and is a lot quiter. keeping oil sprayed on the track where the bat ends run helps and the ends of the bats that has the roller on it that runs in that track.
