Mornin' Willy, If I understand you right, you're saying it will go thru the tie cycle okay when you touch the "tie" button on the monitor? Here's just some things that I've run across: 1. There is a switch up on the back side of that door lock indicator on the front panel. Nothing will work right if that switch isn't telling the brain that the door is down and locked. 2. If the brain seems "out of time" with the baler, cycle the door open and closed one time while the monitor is powered up. 3. Try running the monitor self test. As I recall the procedure, you shut off the power button, hold the "tie" button and re-apply the power. Hold the "tie" button down for 10 seconds to force it into test mode. The monitor should go thru a self test where each light will in turn come on then go off. When it is done testing, it will set there blinking at you. Shut the power button off. Turn it on again and you should be ready to bale. 4. That system needs at good ground at it's main ground wire. 5. Also, check for opens at the "hook up" connector. 6. Just because they "click" doesn't necessarily mean that the switche(s) are good. Check continutiy with an ohm meter. 7. Check to see that the two "fat" tie wires at the connector haven't been reversed at some time along the line. One runs the motor out and the other runs it back. (Although, if it ties okay manually, this can't be the case) Hope ya get that bugger going. :>) Allan
