V-type manure spreaders

Been looking around for a newer version of my 308 NH V-type spreader. Not many to see. Gehl Scavengers seem more popular, but have been told they will self destruct worse than the NH. Other than the ultra pricey Kuhn-Knight hammermills, what works? I am spreading semi solid freestall , and some pack barn manure. Looked at a MEYER rear discharge, but it seemed too lightly built.

I was under the impression that the NH and Gehl V-tank spreaders were the same machines. We clean a feed pad and scatter it with a Gehl 309 and it does a good job.

There's a farmer in the next county that has a John Deere spreader that sure looks heavy duty. I think it has 6 tires on it and he said it used hydraulic pressure to unload it. Hal
