Boy, these folks have lost their minds. Just went to get replacement Floor Channels for a 851. Over the phone they said they were $22.00 Each then I get there and they wanted $42 each.

Just a few years ago they were $15 each then a year before that $12.

Did they loose their marbles or is the parts guy unable to look up the right parts?

Oh, the belt they wanted $76.00 for and I went to an industrial belt place and got a gates C Section Belt for $16.00.

I bet if they think they're going to force me into a new bailer it won't be a NH.

3 years ago I priced the band and boot for a NH silage blower and a Gehl. The same two parts for the NH were double what they were for the Gehl. So I fixed the Gehl. Don't know what will happen now that Gehl has stopped making ag eqipment. Lee

That is like the disk mowers that Kuhn made for NH. That little one way cylender, that none of the idustral places could help me with, was almost $200 from KUHN. That sure beat the $320 from my NH dealer.

I found them for $18.95 each at Shoupsparts.com

Good prices on chains and all. Floor Chains for $76. Each. Apron Chains, Holy cow, I hope I don't need any.

What about $400 for a sheet metal knotter cover on an old NH 310 baler? It was suppose to be on the baler when I picked it up from the dealer. Didn't miss it till I got home and started going over the thing. I called the dealer and he said he could order it for me for $400. This thing was suppose to be COMPLETE! Needed to get some hay done so I kept it. I'll make my own cover this winter when I slow down. Anybody parting one out, let me know.

They seem to be jacking up the price on all the older equipment parts, even for tractors. It's not only New Holland that's doing it, it's every other brand out there.

You're right, it is a way to get you to buy new equipment. I had to buy a thrust washer for a Massey 1135. There's nothing really special about this washer, it's just a piece of metal with 4 groves in it for oil flow. It ptobably cost them no more than 50 cents to make, they charged me $98.50, talk about feeling ripped off.

Tell you what, I strongly considered bolting some 3/16" flat bar into the guides.
