I have a New Holland 68 baler, with a Wisconsin twin cylinder engine (THD). It's old and rusty Does anyone think its worth the time and money to restore it. And if so how difficult would it be to get parts. Thanks Mike

As for parts for the baler itself, New Holland hasn't changed much on their balers in the last 50 years or so until recently. Thus, parts are still plenty available for the old 68. Now for the Wisconsin motor, I have no idea. The old 68 we used when I was growing up was a PTO model and it was a darn good machine. I'd say it would probiably be easy to sell if it's complete and free if trying to sell to the right crowd, but you might be as far ahead to junk it if the baler is frozen up. Somebody might have more input on the motor, but they are worth at least $200 just in parts if they are complete, free (make sure it's not just the chains that have it locked up if it is), and in somewhat decent repair.

In some areas that engine powered baler is very desireable either with pulling with a small tractor or a team of horses and I understand that was a good model baler
