What manual gives info on threading the knotters on a New Holland S68 baler? Service or Operators manual? I just ordered an operators manual from the dealer and now I'm wondering if I ordered the right one. Thanks

I'm currently using a New Holland 68 baler.

All you have to do is run your twine through the needles and tie the twine to the frame of your baler (anywhere is fine).

You'll see the wheel that measures your bale before the baler ties, it's the sprocket looking things that rolls along the hay. To the left of that you can see where it lifts an arm as it tolls along the hay. After threading the needle and tieing off the twin, lift that arm. Then by hand cycle your baler (turning the PTO flywheel).

The needles will come up and the knotters will thread and cut the twine.

Hope this helps

I think you ordered the right one, I have a 68 and the operator's manual covers that.
