How do the tailgate hydraulic cylinders disassemble for rebuild? I've removed the self tapping screw from the side of the cylinder body, but the ram won't come out and I don't see any other obvious places that need to be unscrewed or turned. Anybody out there done this before that can lend some advice?

They are a pain in the $##$@ to take apart. I did the ones on my 850 last year. What you need to do now that you have the lock screw out is push the end of the cylinder down about a 1/4 inch and theres a lock ring in there you need to remove. Drop me an e-mail in the morning and I'll scan the brake down of the cylinder I have in my shop. Its to late and dark out to go and get it rihgt now, plus its pouring rain also. By the way rebuild them both or you will have problems BTDT did one and in less then a week the other one went out
