To any one who still uses a 605 D.

I have made some modifications that will make these balers bale as fast and as good or better than a lot of other balers on the market today, including eliminating the plugging up and pickup problems that these balers where notorious for. it even boosts a 6' wide pickup, hydr tie and bale kicker. It also makes a 6' bale.
I made a thousand bales this year without a glitch.

I believe these balers are the simplest ever built, and can now be had for a song. for Me like many others who can not justify the price of a new baler, time, some tweaking and a few thousand bucks will get you a baler that will last a lifetime.
You do need however good mechanical and welding skills, a lathe is essential too.

Anyone interested?
