Good afternoon,

Wanted to share a painful experience with everyone. Just returned from the E.R. with a finger broken in a couple of places. Last night I was hooking my Vermeer baler up to my MF 175 for a test run. The shaft is very heavy. As I tried fit the safety sheild together, the end that engages the tractor PTO came down on the finger. Ouch! I had haphazardly had it resting on one of the three point arms. When the mind is dumb the body will pay! Be careful out there.

Consider yourself fortunate. My Dad lost his left arm, just below the elbow in a PTO accident many years ago.
