Hauled home an older 963 wagon running gear the other day. It seems in good shape other than the front support bolster is shattered. I was going to weld it back together but there is not enough of it left. Its the support for a rocking bolster. I went to my local dealer to see if I could order one and they told me that they are obsolete. My question is, does anybody know where I could find a new or used support bolster for the front axle? The part number is A6119DW. Would a bolster from a 953 John Deere or other models be the same? I have a want-ad on this site but no luck so far.

Thanks for any replies, Mike.

make a rigid for the front using the back as a pattern. Never seen a rocking bolster on one, they were all rigid, hundreds of wagons and mine were all rigid

The bolster from a 953 wagon should work. I have a 963 also but it has rigid bolsters on it. We rebuilt one of them with a piece of 2x4 box beam. The front and back ridged bolsters are the same. So I had a patern to go by.
