I have a 435 JD baler with a kicker has been removed and sits in the shed because it didn't work that well, regular tires ,double twine arms(optional?),bale trac and auto tie.It looks and works almost like new.I would like to upgrade to a net wrap baler with a wide pick up and have found a NH baler with just that in my area for a reasonable trade in price. The nh has 18 000 bales on it and new belts. My question is,are these good balers,or would i just be trading in for headakes? Thanks,pd

I think you would be better off finding a 435 with net wrap. I dont just bleed green. We own a NH 650 I see a big draw back to the sledge frame design. With the John Deere you eliminate all that mess. Kyle

I had one of those,644 silage special worked great, one thing to watch , They didn't put a grease
fitting on one of the twine arms, and it would hang up sometimes.

The NH 644 is a very good baler. It rolls a 4X5 bale. I have owned a JD 435 and a NH 654. Condition is everything with used equipment. Check chains, sprockets and sledge frame gears. At 18,000 bales these should have been replaced at least once.
