My new one shakes itself like crazy, real hard vibrations. What causes thet? What fixes it?

Are the gearbox bolts tight? Is the PTO shaft bent? Otherwise check blades as already stated.

might want to make a simple balance beam and hang the blades on it and see if one out weighs the other by an amount to where it would make a difference. grinding the back side of the blade takes off extra weight without affecting the cutting edge. if it"s new i"d be calling the dealer and getting him on it right away.

Have someone make sure both blades are swinging freely and check for a hunk of wire wadded up underneath. Also possible a blade is broken causing it to be out of balance. that case nwe blades.
