I was looking into buying this old 8' hydraulic Kewanee field pullveriser, but the owner said that the tires rotted off about 10 years ago and he has still used it on and off since then around his farm. Should I be worried about damage to the rims? They look like they're going to be a pain to take off to get new tires and tubes put on them, but the rims LOOK okay (but that can be deceiving)... What do you guys think?

It'd be even better if I could just slap some old tires on 'em and call it a day... But sadly, none of us have a vehicle that have such narrow tires. But yeah, they're like the tires and rims that are probably on a Chevy S-10 pickup or something like that.

Seems as though you could get a set of used rims from an auto salvage pretty cheap, if they have some right size. Many impliments use the same bolt circles as auto or trucks.

Should I worry about rim damage, or should it be no big deal?
