I just bought an Oliver 770 with a New Idea model 305 mounted corn picker. Where can I get the manuals for that ? Is New Idea now part of AGCO? Thanks, Cal

Yes i believe new idea is part of agco.I might be wrong. But you can check the new idea website too. There is also a cornpicker forum where you can get tips and comraderie with those of us who like old pickers.I had a 325 n.i. and sold it but still have the #7 new idea similar to what my grandfather had. I now have a mounted 2 row ford on a wd45 that i cant wait to get in shape and use next year. be safe and keep in touch.

Thanks for the replies, I will try to get up to the Agco dealer tomorrow. I am new to this corn picker business..I am about ready to retire and I have this hair-brained idea that I would rather raise corn for heating than burn wood. I have had the 2 row planter for many years (I put in sweet corn), but now figure I needed a picker if I am gonna raise corn for heating the house....too much idle time you say? yeah, perhaps, but I really do hate cutting/splitting wood. At any rate, I would be interested in knowing more about where I might find the forum for cornpickers. I think I'm gonna need help on the repair of this thing. Thanks, Cal

I sent you an e-mail about new manuals from the NI Club. Let me know if you didn't get it.
