Has anyone ever heard of a Judson drop spreader? Was there actually a Judson company or was this made by someone else? Are there parts available. Would like to find some info on this

No serial #. It is a drop lime/fertilizer spreader. The name is faded on the rear of the box, but name is cast into the 3 spoke wheel. The spreader is in excellent shape except for one wheel being rusted. It has two seperate gates, but one adjustment handle is missing. Oh yes, it has one bullet hole that I have to weld up. I have done a google search, but other than adds for sale I cannot find anyone with parts. It is only an 8' wide box. Thanks for all you help so far

Dave

There was such a machine. My grandfather had and used one in the '50's. They were red with grey wheels. As I remember parts were virtually unavailable for it then. When on occasion the axle/rotator shaft broke, he had a very talented welder weld it.
