Hello,

Is this an easy plow to use? Will it plow better than a 3pt?

Thanks, bought one but don"t know anything about using it.

Don't know the Vintage of your Plow but they were Mfg. about starting 70 years ago,don't expect too much. They were in their day a Bench Mark as every one judged their plows by them and one in good condition will do the best job of Plowing compared to any others. Wear would be my only concern. Lifting Mechanism would be the first thing I would look at if it is Mechanical Lift. A lot of them were converted to Hydraulic Lift which pretty much took care of any problems there.Worn out Shins, Shares and Mold Boards as well as Coulters and Wheel Bearing Surfaces,Tire condition if equipped with Steel or Rubber would also need appraisal. I've owned several before I went Mounted AC and I was never disappointed in their performance.

Yes to all those questions. Go to tractor manuals to the left of the page and order you a manual for it now. I don't know if you have a hydraulic model or just a cam lift model, but either work very well. They do need to be adjusted properly for different tractors as drawbar hieghts and other things. Once adjusted for your tractor they give outstanding performance. Binder books also has manuals and decals for restoration of them.
