massey ferguson sickle mower

HELP! I just got a massey ferguson sickle mower, all I have of the ID Plate is " 38 033063" the last 6 numbers is the serial number. It has a 7 foot bar, no pittman arm model. What Model do I have? any information will be a great help.

A couple differances between models. The M41 has a stamped steel gear box. The separate sections of the gear box are welded together. The M31 models had a cast iron gear box and a single torsion bar that carried the gear box. Also most of the M41 models had a single pipe frame (big yoke) that the top link attaches to, whereas the M31 models had a 2 pipe frame. Hope that helps. Edd

I think it's a Model 31, the gear box looks cast and I have two pipes for the frame, one that the top link attaches to. I could send you a picture of it to be sure? A big THANKS, Don Dever
