I think it's worth more than a few others here. I sold my 3 bottom for $125 on eBay and have seen them go for more. List it here and a couple of the other antique sites that have free advertising. If the paint is good, the bottoms are shiny and it looks good, it's probably worth $125 to $150. I forget where you are, but location does make a difference. Never know till you try to sell it.

Around my area, highest price on steel is around $180/ton on "short" scrap. I don't believe that plow is even approaching 1000 lbs.

Look over on the allis chalmers dot ---- com website. Lots of people over there, might find a buyer.

I once physically lifted a plow such as you describe a couple inches off the ground. NO WAY will it weigh 1000#. I'd guess about 600# at most. You better try to sell it as a plow, rather than as scrap.

The value of the plow will vary depending upon the amount of wear the bottom parts show - share, shin, moldboard and landside.

There is a wide range of value, I've seen them bring $35 and I've seen them bring $175. I bought a pretty nice one here while back for $65.

Sad thing about exclusive brand/type implements, you have to find somebody wanting them. The AC plows were great and if I could have changed hitch evolution, the Snap Coupler would have replaced the standard 3 point we use today. But alas, it fell by the wayside.

I'd think $75 would be a good price considering how few snap coupler tractors are left. I know, that makes you sick, because it's a fine plow.
