1033 bale wagon problem

Well I was just getting the hang of it after about 800 hundred bales. When the first table puts the 3 bales onto the 2nd table,it won't come back down. I can crawl under and pull the linkage to the valve to the cylinder that operates the table. Can't figure why the linkage won't come back on it's own. Help!!!

Check the grease fittings on the linkage for the first table trip. 2 of them, way down in there hideden and usually covered in hay and grime. Grease the fire out of them and then spray down the whole valve assembly with penetrating oil. Every year with every 1033 and 1034 I have had that valve is allways sticky. Oil and working it usually frees it up. Be careful manually tripping it to release. It will bite.

You're right. I hadn't lubed it, but I did that when the problem started.I thought maybe the lock arm that runs to the bale loader had something to do with it. The loader was running a little low in relation to the first table and I would have to raise it sometimes to get the bale to go onto the table and maybe when it dropped back down, it might have done something to that linkage.Sure glad there's guys like you around to help out. Thanks!!!
