I am looking for a counter for a NH 276 square baler Tried to look on ebay but no luck Any places that you may know to try for a used or reasonably priced? Thanks

I have a NH 276 also that needs a bale counter. I purchased an aftermarket one from a farm supply store but it's very unreliable. The other day I went to New Holland's web site and got the part number for a new one. It was 86608973. I called a dealer and they didn't have one in stock but could get it in a day or two and it was $24.78. Haven't ordered it yet but that's what I plan to do.

Deere has one for the 346 baler part number am3118e, its $23.93 on parts online. Your local new holland dealer should be able to get one for around the same price give or take.

My counter doesn't work on mine. It had a motor on it that locked down a few years back. Could I just put a drive shaft on it?
