I'm not completely following what got stripped on the sprocket- the teeth or the key? same thing on the shaft- is it supposed to be a key in it or a notch for a bolt to go through the sprockets and over the notch? I's get a new sprocket either way, that one's a relatively cheap fix. Should be any way. For the shaft, depending on how much NH wants for it, you may be better off taking it apart and having it fixed by a machine shop. (build it up w/ weld and turn it back down, then mill a new key or notch) I've got a pair of sprockets that came loose on a cross-shaft on our Hesston haybine, wore down the shaft and the bore in the sprockets so I'm getting new sprockets made by a machine shop I used to work at, and I'm fixing the shaft myself at the shop I work at now. I built it up today with weld, and tomorrow a co-worker will spin it on the lathe when he gets a chance both ends, about 5" of weld) If I had it done at the shop I used to work at, it'd probably cost about $100 for the labor involved, but it'd be much more from AGCO because it also has some splines on one end($$$$) The sprockets will probably run me about $50 or so, maybe a little more. 1 is a #60 w/ 21 teeth, the other is a #50 w/ 15 teeth, both hardened w/ a 1 1/4" bore and 1/4" key, 2 set screws.
