I have a model 27 IH baler, SN 4535L, small square bales. I would like to know when it was manufactured, any other information about it, or where can I find this info.

Hi Dan,

I also have a IH #27 baler, I believe they were built in the early 60's, but I'm not completely sure about that. What kind of info are you looking for? I have a manual if you need some info out of it. I have some photo's of a brochure somewhere, I'll have to see if I can find it.

I have a IH 27 baler as well. I am having some problems with the knotter. Do you have any info on how to set it up. Trying to get my hay off and am having no luck with the bales tieing properly.
