"ST" tires are designed for trailer use and have load ratings the same as "P" or "LT" tires. However they do have a Speed rating of 60 MPH . If you are going to travel at a faster speed than 60 MPH you don't need to use "ST" tires . Go to "LT" tires never use "P" as the side walls are weaker and they will not hold up under a load . I use "ST" & stay below 60 MPH and have never had any problem with them in the 50 years I have used them .

Run the other way and don't look back. I have had 6 of those things blow on my 5th wheel Travel Trailer. Now have LT 700R115;s on it and have 4500 miles on the tires [3 years of use]and I keep them clean and shiny with Tire Covers installed and on Jacks off the ground same as I did for the ST tires.Extreme I know but it works for me. will never go back to ST series tires,Goodyear Marathon are no good.

A lot of people have experienced blow-out problems with the ST tire but I don't know why. The tread is designed to scoot sideways more easily then regular tires for tandem application. I have known people to replace them with regular car tires on their camper, carry 45 lbs. pressure in them, and get along just fine.
