I have recently picked up a older NH 490 Haybine that needs a the rubber belt replaced. I can get one end of the belt in and around the wobble box/belt wheel but I am unsure how to get the other end of the belt in and around the top wheel that is connected to the gear box/drive shaft. A manual did not come with the machine. Thanks for you help.

It Is lots of fun to do but I beleave you have to pull the gear box off to get the belt on. I know I had to do it on my 479. I think you have to take off the bearing in the crimper shroud but check to make sure.
