I have a John Deere 31B digger with a 9" auger and it needs new blades.
The dealer wants $48.28 for one and it uses 2. They only list the serrated blade for the 9" auger seems that roots hang in them worse. Is there an after market supplier that would be more reansonable?

Thanks
Charles

I cut out pieces of old plow point and welded on the bottom of one for a friend of mine he said it never dug like that before and the edge is already got an edge on it.

for the pilot hole center part - the end of a stirator auger works great - that is what a ot of new ones come with - probably could get a piece from a bin builder rather cheap -

for the blades we just use regular steel - put an edge w/ angle grinder if necessary (we never have)
