Go to the tractor photo section. Look under Minneapolis Moline. I have one mounted on a G MM. It tourqes to the right really hard. It needs to be solid mounted on the gear box end. In the owners manual it shows it on the pivot. This doea not work. It will cut on a 45 % angle. Adding an arm to the outer end to keep it straight up and down helps but it is a killer to operate.

The owners manual says when the saw is put in gear it will make a chattering sound. Don't be concerned this is the U Joints doing their job. I didn't worry about the chattering sound it was the chain I was concerned about.

The chain was made in England by a company called Adams. I cannot find another chain for a back up. I have called several companys that make chain for logging country. No luck. Von Ruden is still in buisness. They make gear boxes and Hyruralic motors. They are hesitian to answer questions about the saw. The have one emloyee that was there when the saw was first sold in the late 40's. They made 2,000 and were still offering them for sale in the mid 60's. I was told a lot of them went to scrap as they didn't sell very well.
