What is the latest date to plant beans and get a crop here in midwest? middle to southern indiana,ohio and illinois?Thanks in advance!

I'm in SWMO and the final cut off date for crop ins is July 15th.In 1981 I finished the doublecrop beans on July 18th and they made a decent crop as we had a real late freeze that fall.

Its been a muddy mess here and some are still planting while others have taken preventive planting.

Everyone around here always said the 4th of July. I have seen them planted around the 10th and make it. Central KY.
