I just got a Harbor Freight Quick Hitch. It seemed as though I was the lone hold out not getting one ofthese. Anyway, I've about 10 implements of various descriptions, the usual tiller, disc, rake, mower and plow stuff. Now I'm slowly making them fit the QH, one unit at a time. Mostly moving the Gantry system (toplink arm connection) holes to fit in the top hook and still connect down on the bottom draft hooks. This height dimension seems to be critical in making a good hook-up to work. Sometimes I have to take things off and redrill them, other times it's matter of just moving things around and adding a pipe spacer. The top hook lugs seem to like being 2-1/2" wide to make a quick connection. Each implement is different. The neighbors aren't gonna like this at all, cause now unless they got the Harbor Freight QuickHitch they won't be able to connect up easily when they want to borrow a implement. bjr

I actually have pretty decent neighbors and we do try and help each other when we can. So, Yes, I thought to myself and I being "mean" by doing this? Should I be selfish thinking of my sore back? Then I thought, the way this'll happen is now it don't fit no one else's tractor, so, I'll just have to go over with my tractor and my fuel and my implement and do the work, anyhow. So it's probably good news for the neighbors. Sometimees you just never win. bjr
