I bought this brush hog thinking to use it and noticed the name plate with model and serial#.I am having second thoughts about it's future use on our farm. Any information on it's age or number of pieces manufactured is appreciated.

Friend of mine in St. Louis area had a cutter and I thought it was serial no. 001, maybe it was the series number. You didn't happen to buy it around there did you. He sold it not too long ago. Bought it new.

They are a good mower,do a good job, but were never too popular. Just more parts and blades to replace.

Look at the serial# again, it will say Series# 001, not serial #001
