I'm hoping somebody out there can help me figure why I keep bending my top link with a Deerborne 1 bottom / 3 point plow on my 50 JD.

I know the plow doesn't seem to center just right and the plow keeps swaying off to the right and bends the top link near the pin.

Is my Deerborne set up for a different tractor ... or can my JD 50 pull it with my 3 pt. add on?

Any help would sure be appreciated!

Jeff, where abouts are you located? I know of somebody that might be interested in doing some horse trading.

Jason ... sounds good. My plow is currently by Staples, MN ... but I could get it to St. Cloud (about 75 miles north of the twin cities).

What kind of "horse trading" are you thinking of?

the problem is your only use a one bottom hook up 5x16s to it and hit it in about forth gear

You got a problem but the 50 with a three pt should work If the plow is adjusted properly. 530s came with a 3pt and some 520s You have to have the rear wheel width adjusted right rear furrow wheel should be about 26" from the inside of the wheel to the center line of the tractor Then with the left wheel of the tractor up on a 8" block, the plow should set level front to back and side to side. Put the front of the tractor up on a block too. Try searching the archives for PLOW That plow is probrobly worth $200 maybe it would be better to sell it and by a trailer plow
2 bottom 14". Any ?? Email me.

Also, the Deere was never designed for a 3pt hitch, but for a trailer plow

What is the make of the 3 PT add-on? Seems like you may be missing some stabilizing chains.

I think the DEARBORN is a solid plow with no shear protection as the FERGUSON system has a built in shock spring. This is only what I think at this time. CENTAUR
